Where To Find Sensory Activities for Seniors

from: Kyle Besser

There are many different sensory activities for seniors that their friends and family can also enjoy. As you get older, your mind and body don't always work like they once did. Performing sensory activities for seniors is a great way to help keep your mind and body as sharp as possible as you grow older.

There are classes that teach sensory activities for seniors. Activities of these classes include eye tracking activities, playing with rhythm sequences using bouncing balls, combining patterns of the basic bag and ball skills and double focus activities such as one hand doing one thing while the other one does something else. You might look in your local community to find out where such classes are offered and how you can sign up.

Sensory activities for seniors will help with:

* Whole brain availability
* Focus and concentration
* Physical coordination
